All that despite conceding some games here and there like you experienced sometimes. They climbed anyway, so … they just won what they had to, snatched a few more abnormal wins here and there, easy rating. It doesn’t mean boosting is hard or easy just because of those few games limited to one handful of match-ups. Doesn’t matter that you won a good player doing a carry, your comp or maybe even class wasn’t one of his auto wins that’s all.
It is also worth mentioning that, like I said, the reason why 2s boosting is easier imo to boost high is that you win some game automatically. Respectfully you don’t actually have different experience since you did not experience boosting on high 2s elo since you didn’t go there, or boosting in correct/high 3s elo since you also didn’t go there so you cannot compare based on personal experience (hehe).

Met Joefernandes and Snupy around 2k CR in S1 and they couldn’t really boost their “viewers” if it wasn’t a free win. Right ? It’s like, do you want good or better ? Who on earth wouldn’t choose better ? If I had to choose between a good 3v3 player (they all also have similar 2v2 achievs as well) and an OTP 2v2 player who didn’t even push at a rating range where there is a lot of competition that would have pushed him to develop skills closer to those of an experience 3v3 player the choice would be very obvious. It’s really playing in easy mode all of a sudden. When you send that guy in 2v2 it is so easy because he can do the same he did im 3v3, but has a ton more focus to play the game because he has to look at 3 players instead of 5, less cds, less likeliness to be punished for improper position etc. It is often the same with knowledge of trading, prediction etc.
In terms of awareness a successful 3v3 player is very generall better than a successful 2v2 player. 3v3 is harder than 2v2 for obvious reasons, and in most cases (I’d say all but I don’t know everyone) any player good in 3v3 is at least great in 2v2, when the opposite is not true at all.
